Reseller Online Marketplace Policy
At SUNFIRE, we are dedicated to producing great products, maintaining the integrity of our brand, preventing price erosion, and supporting our valued resellers. These principles are the foundation of our Online Marketplace Policy, which governs the sale of SUNFIRE products, particularly within third-party marketplaces. Effective immediately, compliance with this policy is mandatory for all Authorized Resellers such as wholesalers, dealers, and any company that is selling products from SUNFIRE.
Prohibition of Sales in Online Marketplaces
To ensure fair pricing and maintain accurate content that represents our brand correctly, SUNFIRE will take full responsibility for managing our products on all third-party marketplaces and online platforms, including but not limited to Amazon, Walmart, Home Depot, Lowes, and any other third-party platforms. Consequently, Authorized Resellers are strictly prohibited from selling SUNFIRE products on any of these platforms, either directly or indirectly, through any fulfillment method of any kind, including Merchant Fulfillment Network (MFN) or Fulfilled by Amazon (FBA).
Violations of this prohibition will lead to immediate action, including suspension or termination of Authorized Reseller status, no longer having access to all products and parts, along with all associated partnership benefits.
Key Compliance Requirements
- No Unauthorized Sales on Any Online Marketplaces: To further protect our brand, SUNFIRE restricts the sale of its products on all third-party marketplaces. Any such sales require express written authorization from SUNFIRE. Authorized Resellers are only permitted to sell SUNFIRE products on their own online platform only. This includes a Resellers own online platform such as their own website providing they abide by all other marketplace policies.
- Prohibition on Resale to Other Resellers: Authorized Resellers are not permitted to resell SUNFIRE products to other resellers including wholesalers, suppliers, dealers, or any third-party marketplaces, that engage in the sale of products, whether directly or indirectly, to third-party online platforms.
- Use of Authentic Marketing Materials: To ensure consistency and protect our brand’s image, Authorized Resellers must use only authentic images of SUNFIRE products and approved logos, trademarks, and taglines. Any alternative versions must receive prior approval from SUNFIRE.
- Compliance with Minimum Advertising Price (MAP) Policy: Adherence to SUNFIRE’s Minimum Advertise Price (MAP) policies is required for all Authorized Resellers to maintain the brand’s value and market positioning. Exceptions are allowed with written approval and with exceptions outlined in the Authorized Dealer Program for Authorized Dealers only.
Compliance and Enforcement
Failure to comply with the terms outlined in this agreement will result in the actions, as follows:
- Violation 1: Written warning requiring compliance within 48 hours.
- Violation 2: Suspension of reseller privileges for 60 days.
- Violation 3: Termination of reseller account and purchasing privileges.
